We have taken the "skimmer" of the 1890's and added a curved brim. The basic shape can be trimmed in a clean man-tailored style or with flowers and ribbons, both versions are period correct. Think "A Room with a View", "The Importance of Being Earnest" or "Sister Carrie". Also an option for a bridal ensemble.
